Just wondering if you received any responses to this post….I was once
a “victim” who came to this same exact realization….that my sin was at least as great as the person who was sinning against me. That person was my husband. We divorced in 1995, but through my taking full responsibility for healing myself of what I called “victim consciousness” with the help of a Christ-centered 12-step group, not only did the Lord heal my heart, but in 1999, my ex-husband came to my apartment, confessed his need for a Savior in Christ, and the Lord restored our marriage! We re-married as believers in Christ in 2000, and today, the Lord has given us a ministry together, assisting couples to understand God’s biblical blueprints for male-female relationship! Yes, I would enjoy very much hearing your perspective on the matter, if you would care to share via e-mail to my husband’s account. Thank you!

Please send me more details on your comment. As a survivor of Domestic Violence, I don’t understand why you say its “My sin” also. Also I counsel and do workshops on Domestic Violence and would very much, without judging you, know why you say what you have written.

This is interesting because after 10 years of not dating or having any interest in a relationship and decide one day to start dating…i pick someone who is worse than my ex partner but we are now seperated. Since going through a lot of counselling and attending church i’ve always been made aware that we need to take responsibility for our own actions.

I thought I had uploaded the EIBRU FACTOR, but it did not come up, so that is something I am still endeavoring to figure out. The tags are words that are contained within the message. I do not know YET, exactly what they are for, but I am assuming (never assume) that they enable people to type in the word to get to a BLOG posting that contains information that they read previously and want to reread but don’t know the title of that blog. I do appreciate you bearing with me as I learn about this.

This is Dr. Sandi Cleary. I am a scripture-based Biblical Christian counselor. For quite some time i have been feeling I should start a blog on the Web. As a counselor I am getting more and more people in my office who are feeling empty inside, and wondering what they can do to fill that void in their heart. They have been through relationship after relationship, but no one seems to be able to give them what they need to feel a sense of purpose for their life. So I am starting this blog, and trusting that through the comments entered on the blog, the writing of the comments will bring
clarification.
