Dear Friends,
Eighteen months ago, I inadvertantly deleted the original email list that was made up of people who let me know they wanted to be included on my email list to receive ministry updates, etc. I have never been able to successfully reestablish that list, so when I send out updates, some people are getting them who have not requested to be on the list, and some people are not getting them who did request to be on the list. What I am in the process of doing is to create one entirely new list combining all the email lists I use, which is going to save a lot of time for me, and be able to include everyone who wants to be on the ministry email list and prayer support list. What I will do now when I send out an email is put the topic in the subject line so that everyone on my list knows when there is a meeting going on, or if there is a new post on the BLOG, or when I need special prayer, etc., and can open the email if they want more details, or delete the email if they don’t want, or need, the details. However, even if you don’t open the email, I still would like you to pray for me, and the ministry, whenever you get an email from me.
I started a mailing list over twenty five years ago, so some of you have been praying for me and this ministry for all those years. An email list was started when I discovered a lump that was later diagnosed as breast cancer. That diagnosis was a wake-up call that I was not going to live forever, which prompted me to get really serious about training people to do the kind of counseling I do, and to conduct the workshops that I do, etc. Recently I was prompted to even get a new board established of the people who want to keep the counseling and workshop etc., ministry going. Another major task that I have been asked to do is to arrange to have the Overcomers Fellowship program promoted in such a way that it can be spread across the country via SKYPE etc. I plan to be working with a Christian publishing house to accomplish this, so I am now in the process of rearranging my schedule so I can carve out blocks of quality time to be devoted to the essential writing that will be necessary to accomplish this objective.
Those of you who have been on my mailing list for many years know that I have been going through an Overcoming process my whole entire life, including overcoming MS, a brain stem injury, and a host of other seemingly impossible to overcome maladies. Through it all I learned, without a shadow of doubt, that WITH GOD, nothing is impossible, and NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with God, and that as long as the Lord keeps me on this earth, that is the message I am to carry forth, along with the scripture promises and the conditional commandments that I learned to believe in and apply to the various life-interfering difficulties, as the way to be an overcomer.
